This Air Jordan 3 Retro is known as the “Seoul” edition and are a new twist on the classic white/cement colorway. Designed by Tinker Hatfield and Dan Sunwoo in Nike’s Innovation Kitchen, they feature a white-based upper with elephant print detailing and traditional “Nike Air” branding. The Taegukgi (Korean flag) inspires the shoe’s overall color scheme, with the “taeguk” symbol expressed through the lining and collar’s blue and red and the white upper representing peace and purity (as it does on the flag). The highly-coveted Nike Air logo is present on the heel tab, while the tongue instead bears South Korean branding. The classic silhouette maintains its white tumbled leather upper and elephant print accents.
